The truth about Success & Failure

Following your passion is a phrase that has been around for ever, but has it been a cliche? How many people really follow there true passions? Its very likely that many people tend to settle for a career that is secure. What happens to people who do not fulfill their destiny is self destruction. Think about the doctors, lawyers, and other careers that are considered successful today, Why are some a lot more successful in their profession then others ? The answer we are given is one that i feel is part of the false reality we are enslaved to. If you are not successful at what you do, its because you are not trying hard enough. What a demeaning piece of advice that statement is and an over rated one at that. News flash guys if that was really true, it would have worked by now. Now is their a different side of this statement that is absolutely true, well of course. A successful person didn't make this up for the pleasure of watching us fail like a bunch of morons, OK, maybe but what has really seemed to happen throughout the years is the perception of the meaning behind the words, were based on the success leaving out the importance of the passion( No, "he is successful because he had passion to succeed", is not the answer to that question and if that crossed your mind, thank you for adding to our ignorance, don't worry I did to once, Im allowed to make fun of you :).). We took the answer and forgot to include the whole picture as well.

Lets break it down in a way we can finally embrace the true meaning of what was intended.
Your passion is what you are destined to do. You are the only one who knows what your passion is, Trust me its there even if you have not acknowledged or accepted it just yet. Exactly why we are here, we don't know, my religion people please embrace this I'm not knocking you but think outside the box a little and hang in their with me. The fact that we do not exactly know leaves us to go off of what we do know' and that's ourselves. We know what we love, feel excited about, and enjoy doing no matter how long it takes us . Our passion is our destiny that leads to success internally and externally. To succeed internally is to be happy without the feeling of something missing. When we have accepted this without the opinions, judgements, and hopes of others, the rest just falls right into place. Success is internal, without the internal foundation , "success" based on societies acceptance, sure enough falls hard and fast. I can prove that with a simple statement like look at all the people that have started a business, or career that did not last very long. I know what your thinking, what about the people that have succeeded even after they failed many times. That is actually the strongest point that proves my theory so HA!!! :)

One of the most important thing to keep in mind when looking for motivation, is to look deeper then the motivation. Motivation is what gives a passionate person their drive. Motivation is a natural internal response that automatically is switched on when their destiny is being pursued. The way it applies to those who have succeeded despite how many times they failed is because what failure felt to you, was only hunger to work harder and another oppurtunity to succeed for them. Failure is another word i find not worthy of our vocabulary, it confuses people and confused people are stressed people. the definition of is to not accomplish a goal. Failure is definite and leaves no room for change. See, silly right? If not then definitely keep reading, maybe a second time wouldn't hurt ;). People who do not feel the drive to work harder after they do not succeed the first time have no business chasing something that is not their passion and the Websters definition of failure is going to keep having meaning associated to everyone. By all means, if chasing socities acceptance is your passion do not let me discourage you, to each their own, just make up a new word, ( if i was creative i wouldve been all over that, Mr. Webster would receive a call from me ASAP but its not my destiny, see, i can do it ;)). However my new definition of failure is "The outcome of ones dedication that has ended, due to their journey not leading towards the path of the purpose it was intended for, is only terminated to allow another chance to learn from the mistakes that lead to a dead end, giving them a lesson to be used as another tool of wisdom to fulfill their destiny". ~Evelyn Martinez. I just came up with that so do not steal it, If you do at least  give me credit. Its not very often i come up with new definitions, at least not ones that makes sense to anyone else but me, Kidding. OK, now back to my point, When you do what you are destined to do and embrace the journey without expectations success within society will follow.

Not only do you begin to internally fulfill your destiny, the Power to improve and create new ideas is what Society feeds off of, giving you the financial success as well. I was inspired to finally write this blog after hearing a story about two brothers, one was a doctor & the other a Firefighter. Kapiel Raaj an amazing author explained how the brother who followed his passion as Firefighter had achieved more success financially and internally then his brother. The reason he was financially better off then his brother is simply because he aspired to accomplish his destiny, destiny produces greatness. When destiny finally meets its purpose, the outcome is the product of greatness . Yes, I know a whole lot of greatness, don't worry you have it to and you will soon understand my crazy, and love saying it too :).On the other hand the other brother who had accomplished a career, respected and symbolized as success, did not have the same success at all. Do you understand why the doctor was not as well off internally or externally as his brother? The doctor did not base his drive on his true purpose, the passion and fire(no pun intended) he lacked while chasing anything else but his heart made him average & typical to society, He internally allowed himself to settle.

You have a purpose and as corny as i thought that once was, Its absolutely true. How much influences around you have thrown you off your path needs to be realized in order to move on and take responsibility back to do what you were meant to do. Yes, parents suck sometimes and kids are mean turning us into bitter adults, and not to forget the devastation's of love screwing us all up, as much as I agree, it is really hard sometimes to get through and cope with life's challenges and trauma, Its the farthest from impossible as well. The only person you should be talking to the next time you are not happy with your job or you work hard and did not recieve the acknowledgment you deserved. ask yourself, Why? If there is no answer or solution to that question then maybe thats not the question you should be asking anymore. Sometimes we forget the only question that will always give us an anwser, when there is no anwser is to simply change the question, instead of why ask Who. If you don't know why your doing something starting with Who am I? More times then none it always answers the original question even if not at the moment. The interesting part is for some reason people receive an answer for why & never ask who, or they ask who & never ask why. Do not stop your curiosity, theres a reason for it. Ask all of the question and get the whole picture instead of half, the whole picture really makes a lot more sense then half a picture displaying grass and a rock, when the other half held the rest of the mountain.
